Early days

January 25, 2008

Initial reactions to our release of tiinker have been very positive. We’ve had great reviews from a number of influential sources (Lifehacker, Download Squad, PC Authority, and more), and the feedback from our new users has been encouraging. We’ve found that half of all people who interact with the site sign up for an account (you don’t need to sign up to try it out), a very impressive rate if we do say so ourselves. We hope we can maintain this high rate, perhaps even improve it.

We’re right now going about improving a few things that people have commented on such as adding RSS feeds of your scrapbook and history, feed auto-discovery and a better email interface. We’ll then move on to some more substantial features including social tools, making finding interesting stories even easier. And we will as always continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of our story analysis and selection.

We always welcome suggestions for features you would like to see: just email feedback@tiinker.com.
